I am a recent graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's
of Science in Industrial Design.
Being born in America, I wasn't given
a Korean name at birth. Instead, my mom gave me one when I started Korean school at age 8, where the name 기쁨 (Gibbeum) made its way into my life. Even though it doesn't quite follow the typical conventions of a Korean name, the meaning of "joy" has stuck with me ever since, influencing the type of design I love. Focusing on playful colors and ideas, I try to find the joy in all the work that I do!
